	Scholarship amounts will be based on various factors including availability of funds. The North Carolina Heroes’ Fund may set minimum levels for academic performance in order for a recipient to maintain scholarships from year to year. Please note that awards are not automatically renewed annually over the course of a recipient’s collegiate / academic career. Please note that by submitting a request for a scholarship, information becomes available for use by the North Carolina Heroes’ Fund, Inc. information may be included in materials describing the Fund and its activities. This could include posting to our website. A recipient understands that submission of information and acceptance of a scholarship provides explicit permission for this information to be used by the Fund. Individuals related to Board of Directors Members or Advisory Board Members are ineligible for grants/scholarships.
