E-5 Sergeant Dewey McCoy served in Iraq from October 2003 to March 2005 where he accomplished 350 missions before he was hit by an IED.  Sgt. McCoy was treated and released from a residential program at Perry Point where they incurred a hardship with both him and his wife being out of work. Sgt. McCoy and his wife currently reside in North Carolina and the North Carolina Heroes' fund was proud to award Sgt. McCoy with a hardship grant.
