Executive Director North Carolina Heroes Fund
The North Carolina Heroes’ Fund is pleased to announce the election of new Board Chairman Thomas Mussoni. Mussoni is a founding partner of Commercial Property Advisors, LLC, and for 24 years has represented Autobell Car Wash Inc in the identification of new locations. He has served on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Heroes Fund for four years. Mussoni takes the reins from Chairman and Founder Scott Stone.
Board Member David Hayden, Attorney with Smith Anderson, was elected Vice Chair. Hayden served in the United States Army for 29 years as both an Engineer and Judge Advocate Generals Corps Officer.
The North Carolina Heroes Fund also welcomes new Board of Directors members Mike Allen, John Nicholson and Ben Pickett.
Mike Allen, a Sales Leader for State Farm, acts as a consultant to 39 business owners in the Raleigh area. Allen served in the US Army as an Infantry Officer for seven years after graduating from the Citadel in 1982.
John Nicholson served 28 years in the United States Marine Corps before retiring as a Colonel in 2010. Nicolson recently served as the Military Affairs Advisor for two Governors of North Carolina, Pat McCrory and Bev Perdue.
Ben Pickett is an attorney in Moore & Van Allen’s Charlotte office. His practice consists of a wide variety of transactional fields, with a focus on commercial contracts and transportation and logistics matters.
