"The Cary, North Carolina VMERGE chapter is spearheading plans for a North Carolina Heroes Gala, to be held August 29 in Raleigh-Durham to benefit area service members".

The North Carolina Heroes' Fund awarded $3,627 in assistance to four veterans this month.
