Matthew Ridenhour is serving his third term on the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners.
A native Charlottean, he is a graduate of Charlotte Christian School, and served for 11 years in the Marine Corps. His service includes two tours in the Anbar Province of Iraq. He is a risk analyst for FIS Risk and Security, a division of FIS Global.
Matthew graduated with a BA from AIU in Atlanta, and is currently pursuing his MBA with Liberty University.
He’s a member of the Mecklenburg County Young Republicans, a 2012 and 2016 delegate to the Republican National Convention, and, in his opinion, is an excellent baker. He and his wife Abby have a beautiful little girl named Caroline, and two dachshunds, Badgely and Marlowe.
