The North Carolina Heroes' Fund welcomes Congressman Walter Jones to it's Advisory Board, currently serving his 8th term in Congress after serving 10 years as an elected member of the North Carolina General Assembly, Congressman Jones is a member of the House Committees on Armed Services and Financial Services.
As a member of the Armed Services Committee, Walter has concentrated on safeguarding the well being of our nation's veterans and our men and women on active duty. While only three percent of all bills introduced in the 104th Congress ever became law, the President signed Jones' War Crimes Act into law on August 21, 1996.
